Our birthday party in September was a fish and chip supper 'at home' in Llanvaches Church Hall. We were very well entertained by Gareth Williams who managed to coax wonderful music from the piano.

Our next meeting will include a talk 'Donkey Sanctuary' by Mrs Lizzie Ellis on Tuesday 8th October.

Some of our members had an interesting trip to see the 'Royal Wedding Gowns' exhibition in Kensington Palace.

Other members are due to visit Worcester and Malvern on an 'Elgar Day' in October.

These two outings have been organised by the Gwent Federation of W.I.'s.
