Baptists have worshipped in and around Caerwent for over 200 years. In 1815 they established a church in the village which, to this day, remains a thriving centre of Christian activity.

This booklet tells the story of Caerwent Baptists from their beginning until the end of the second millennium.

The author, the late Eric Lovell, sadly taken from us in January 2001, and members of his family have been secretaries of Caerwent Baptist Church since 1932.
