October 2002 From the Revd. Hugh Trenchard, Vicar. Dear Parishioners, It really will be good to be back! May I take this opportunity to record Gill's and my thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers which have been a real life line. Surgery was successful and now a lengthy period of Chemotherapy and Radio Therapy begins. By May all should be fine and, I trust, we may both be looking toward a holiday next autumn. It is good to experience the warmth of a Church family and the wider community. A particular thanks to Nansi and our immediate neighbours at numbers 2 and 3 Vicarage Gardens. Our thanks too for the many cards and messages which have made so much difference to what has been a deeply alarming experience. As ever, Hugh Trenchard Vicar.
