In 1932 Frank Drower moved his bakery to the top of the village and built a new shop and Post Office - the one that's there today. His daughter Marjorie (now aged 80) recalls that in the following year he bought a new Morris car, registration number WO 2418 - and here it is parked outside the bakery on what appears to be a very wet day! |
